Building Momentum for Earth Music Theater Live — Help Us Bring the Experience to More Communities

Over the past year, Earth Music Theater Live (EMTL) has grown from an inspired concept into a powerful and deeply moving live experience that brings together music, astronaut imagery, and spoken word to explore our shared home planet.

Across Massachusetts and beyond, audiences have responded with enthusiasm to this unique blending of art and science, where live music evolves alongside breathtaking imagery of Earth captured by astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Many people have told us the experience changes how they see our planet—reminding us how extraordinary, fragile, and interconnected our world truly is.

With the support and generosity of sponsors, partners and host organizations we have been able to bring Earth Music Theater Live to communities with free or low-cost admission. This commitment is central to our mission ensuring that the experience is accessible to everyone. These partnerships allow us to remove barriers so that families, students, and community members can participate in an experience designed to inspire curiosity about our planet and the universe beyond it.

As we move into Year Two, the momentum continues to grow.

Our upcoming Spring season includes performances at Forbes Library in Northampton, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston and the Shea Theater Arts Center in Turners Falls.  At its heart, Earth Music Theater Live is about perspective. When astronauts look back at Earth from space, they see something profound in one beautiful planet shared by all of humanity. Through music and imagery, we invite audiences to experience that perspective together.
